Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Festival

Event Generals have officially acquired the Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Festival.
The deal was finalised earlier this month and from 2023 Event Generals will take over all event management, event marketing, and general organisation of this great Festival.
As the Craft Beer Capital of Australia, the Sunshine Coast has very high standards for the Festival and these standards are what make our Event Generals excited for the challenge that lies ahead.
Since 2017, the Sunshine Coast Craft Beer Festival has welcomed over 100 brewers from around Australia to tantalize the taste buds of several thousand Festival-goers from far and wide.
After a tricky couple of years due to Covid restrictions, the Festival is primed for a massive return in 2023.
“We are so excited to get stuck into the Craft Beer Festival. There are several fresh ideas we have for the Festival starting with a complete re-brand and website being worked on as we speak. We are also looking at a new format and strategy for our beloved brewers and at the end of the day, an amazing consumer experience is what we want to create”.
said Event Generals founding Director, Josh Allen.
“We have our eye on a couple of local venues but with our close ties to Noosa we may move it to Noosa and change the name to suit. Attendees can expect a slightly altered experience to the standard beer festivals gone by. Without making the beer a secondary experience, we want to create a more inviting vibe focussed on music and other entertainment with the beer bringing all walks of life together. An appropriate decision will be made after community consultation and feedback. Like any great event, they wouldn’t be possible without people showing up. We arent going to pretend we know what people want and this is why over the next few weeks we will be seeking as much feedback and new ideas as possible. The breweries and distillers are the true champions of this event and if we can facilitiate their needs whilst giving consumers a unique and memorable experience, then that’s all we want to achieve”.

At the moment there is no firm date or venue for the 2023 Craft Beer Festival, but there are hints at it being in the peak of Summer and in a location close to the beach.
